New or Change of Officers
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Welcome and congratulations!
- When new officers are elected or there is a change of officers mid-year, you should update this information electronically via CollegiateLink. The president (or any administrator of the organization's CollegiateLink site) can change any officer’s status in CollegiateLink. Student leaders can change officer positions anytime by upgrading/downgrading member status on the organization’s CollegiateLink page. For new organizations, once the application and organization is approved for the academic year, they will have the opportunity to list their new president/treasurer/officers/etc. Further, other positions can be added after the application has been approved. Click here for more instructions on how to effectively change officers.
- If you are elected mid-year as an officer and your organization is already recognized, you should view the SOOT (Student Organization Orientation Training) presentation to learn important policies and procedures of effectively and successfully running an organization, event planning, finances, and more:
(SOOT Webpage)!
- Check out these transition resources to help you get all the information possible:
- Visit the Officer Transition webpage for great downloadable resources.
- Visit the Leadership section of the OCA website for information about CEO LEAD, Leadership Tip Sheets, and how the Leadership Assistants can help you and your organization.
Should you have any questions or concerns, visit the Office of Campus Activities in Student Organization Resource Center (SORC - Lower Level, Creese Student Center) or contact an OCA staff member at askOCA@drexel.edu.
