Drexel University is creating a new industry/university cooperative research center called Center for High Pressure Plasma Energy, Agriculture and Biomedical Technologies, abbreviated as C-PEAB.

Drexel University announces that the C&J Nyheim Plasma Institute was awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for the formation of an Industry/University Research Center for High Pressure Plasma Energy, Agriculture, and Biomedical Technologies (PEAB). Starting in the winter of 2018, this award is the opening phase of 15 years of NSF funding for the center. With Drexel University taking a leading role in the collaboration with George Washington University and Michigan University, this center will bring national recognition to our engineering programs and global exposure to many companies.
