Week of Undergraduate Excellence Abstract Deadline Extended The call for abstracts for the first annual Week of Undergraduate Excellence (May 1–5, 2017), a showcase of Drexel University undergraduate achievement in all of its forms, has been extended to Wednesday, March 1, 2017. The Office of Undergraduate Research, a unit of the Pennoni Honors College, in partnership with the Hagerty Library and individual colleges, schools, and student organizations, will host this five-day celebration of undergraduate excellence as demonstrated in poster sessions, oral presentations, demonstrations, performances, exhibits, and workshops designed to showcase the achievements of Drexel University undergraduate students, primarily those in sophomore through senior year. The event, which replaces Drexel Research Day and will be organized like a conference, will include two poster sessions and multiple oral presentation sessions in which students from any college, school, or discipline can present their work. In addition, there will be workshops targeted to undergraduate students intended to help transition them to the workplace or graduate school and formal recognition of students who have demonstrated exemplary achievement. Students are invited to submit abstracts to present their research, scholarly work, or creative work during poster presentations and/or oral presentations. Abstracts will be due no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Please see the Call for Abstracts, available online at the Pennoni Honors College Week of Undergraduate Excellence website. Please note: The Office of Undergraduate Research will cover costs of printing posters for all students who are accepted to present.
