  • ​FREE OUTDOOR SUMMER FILM SERIES COMING TO DREXEL PARK

    Beginning Thursday, June 20, University City District (UCD) and The Awesome Fest, in collaboration with Drexel, will present a free 8-week summer film series at Drexel Park, one of the city’s most scenic green spaces. The films—all celebrating the 1980s—will be presented on a state-of-the-art, 30-foot outdoor screen. All films begin at dusk.

    • July 11: Spaceballs
    • July 18: Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure
    • July 25: Die Hard
    • August 1: Batman

  • Drexel All-Star Basketball Camp

    ​Drexel’s All-Star Basketball Camp with Brusier Flint will offer two weeklong sessions this summer at the John A. Daskalakis Athletic Center. The first session will be held the week of June 24-29  and session two will take place August 5-9. Camp is open to boys and girls ages 7-16 and will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A special discounted rate is available to children of Drexel employees and alumni.   • Performance Management: It’s Assessment Time

    ​Spring is here and with it the last phase of the annual performance management cycle. Supervisors should move performance evaluations into the “Assessment” phase in the online performance management tool so that professional staff can complete the self-assessment step. The recommended timeline below will assist through the completion of the performance cycle. Your specific timeline may differ slightly; please follow your division or departmental instructions.

    • April 1 - 15
      Professional staff members complete self-assessments in the online tool
    • April 15- May 10
      Managers complete and finalize assessments online
    • May 10 – 24
      Departments/Colleges/Divisions review all performance evaluations
    • May 24
      All signed performance evaluations, including faculty evaluations, due to Human Resources electronically

    Human Resources will be offering refresher sessions on April 3 in University City and April 10 in Center City for using the system and for evaluating performance on the University City and Center City campuses . Log in to Career Pathway through the Employees tab of DrexelOne to register for a session. For more detailed information and tips for writing and conducting performance evaluations, refer to the Performance Management page on the Human Resources website.
