Inspire a Child to Dream Day Returns to Drexel on April 26
Drexel University faculty and professional staff members, including the Academy of Natural Sciences and Drexel University Online, are invited to have their little Dragons aged 6-12 years old come to campus on April 26 for the University’s annual Inspire a Child to Dream Day, which is modeled after the national "Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work®" program.
But head’s up: you must register your child by April 4 in order to attend. There will be no walk-ins on the day of the event.
While this event always offers new and interesting experience to the children, this year has a special treat for children and their parent or guardian a trip to the Academy of Natural Sciences at Drexel University. All children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian in order to attend. To register for the ANS trip, please select “ANS Tour” on the registration form.
Parents and children can board a special shuttle to ANS between 1:15-1:30 p.m. They will be greeted with a scavenger hunt and successful participants will be rewarded with a small prize. At 2:30 p.m., children and their parents are invited to a show in the auditorium, or they can enjoy the many wonders of the Academy’s collection. The shuttle will depart ANS to return to the University City Campus between 3:15-3:30 p.m.
This year’s Inspire a Child to Dream Day is sure to be a success. In 2017, 148 children were educated and inspired by an inside peek of the world of work at Drexel.
