CPR Training, Massages and Blood Pressure Tests: Photo Recap of Drexel’s 9th Annual Health & Wellness Fair

Drexel’s 9th Annual Health & Wellness Fair.

Every year, Drexel University faculty and professional staff are invited to the annual Health and Wellness Fair to learn more about services provided to them through health and wellness vendors. This year was no different, though the event held on April 11 featured a few new additions to the annual programming.

For the first time, Dragons could receive training in hands-only CPR through the new CPR Ready table (and earn five Wellness Incentive Program Points for their participation as part of Drexel’s 2018 Wellness Incentive Program). By the end of the two-hour event, 35 staff ended up learning more about administering CPR.

Hundreds of Drexel faculty and staff attended the 2018 Health & Wellness Fair, which also offered free mini-massages and healthy Mediterranean appetizers. Drexel Medicine staff was on hand for free blood pressure screenings and staff from the Drexel Recreation Center offered free express wellness consultations. Additionally, seven women booked an appointment for their annual mammogram at the event, thanks to the Drexel Center for Breast Health and Wellness.

Tables were set up to provide more information on everything from financial planning to health and wellness services. Those who visited five or more tables could enter a raffle to win prizes from Drexel’s health and wellness partners.
