Meet the 1st Finalist for the Vice President of IRT

With the search committee for the vice president of Information Resources and Technology whittling down its list of applicants to the finalists, Drexel's faculty, staff and students can help decide who is chosen for the new position.

Finalists have been selected to come to campus for interviews by the vice president of IRT search committee, which is made up of faculty and campus administrators and chaired by Susan Aldridge, PhD, senior vice president of online learning at Drexel.

Monday, the first finalist, Jim Bradley, will come to Drexel's campus to meet the University community and take part in a Q&A held at Behrakis Grand Hall North in the Creese Student Center from 3 until 4 p.m. After the meeting, there will be access to an online survey that can be used for evaluating the candidates.

"Because we need your help in selecting Drexel’s next vice president for IRT, we ask that you plan to attend or view this Q&A session," Aldridge said.

Bradley has been an IT professional in higher education for nearly three decades, having held senior leadership positions at both the University of Texas at Arlington and Tulane University. As vice president and CIO at UT Arlington he led efforts to design, develop and implement a new network infrastructure.  At Tulane, where he served as assistant vice president of Information Technology, he worked closely with students and faculty on a large-scale project to pilot and evaluate alternative learning management systems, while also overseeing multiple initiatives to integrate IT services among all campus facilities.
Having presented and published extensively on such topics as cloud services, IT governance, and leading organizational change, Bradley serves as a member of the advisory board of the Lonestar Education and Research Network.

Each finalist for the vice president of IRT position will spend two days at Drexel meeting with students, faculty, senior leaders, IT managers and staff.
