Drexel University to Host Campus Philly Career Fair for More Than 1000 Regional Job-Seeking Graduate
More than 1,000 recent college graduates from schools across the Greater Philadelphia region will attend a college career fair on Drexel’s campus. The event, organized by Campus Philly, will feature more than 50 employers with 300 available positions for recent grads.
A recent study by the National Association of Colleges and Employers reported this year’s graduating class will do better in finding full-time work than in 2009. One in four will leave college with a job as compared to one in five in 2009.
The event is open to recent college graduates from 2006-2010, who are available to start a full-time position no later than September 2010. Students are encouraged to pre-register and maximize their time in front of employers at the fair. For more information about the fair and to register visit www.campusphilly.org/careers.
Campus Philly is a nonprofit organization fueling economic growth by encouraging college students to study, live and work in the Greater Philadelphia tri-state region. Hosted by Drexel University, Campus Philly’s Opportunity Fair is made possible with support from the City of Philadelphia, Campus Philly Partner Colleges and Universities, Verizon, Scion, Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions and Career Siege.
