High School Students to Visit Drexel with Mayor Nutter

What: Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter will visit Drexel University’s University City Main Campus accompanied by 30 students from Philadelphia high schools as part of PhillyGoes2College’s “College Awareness Week.“Drexel University President John Fry will welcome Mayor Nutter and the students to campus as they pull up to Drexel’s Main Building in a road trolley. Mayor Nutter will then visit a college application workshop for high school seniors to see how students are receiving help in navigating the college admissions process. An initiative of the Mayor’s office, PhillyGoes2College’s mission is to motivate more youth, adults and current college students in Philadelphia to pursue or complete their college education. Partners in the initiative include the School District of Philadelphia, the Free Library of Philadelphia and Campus Philly.
