Drexel University Named a Top Best Buy by 2011 Fiske Guide

Drexel University has been named as one of the “Top 45 Best Buys,” for an undergraduate education by The Fiske Guide to Colleges, the publication announced today. Drexel is one of the top 24 best values among private universities ranked by the publication. The ranking is based on the quality of the academic offerings in relation to the cost of attendance, according to the Fiske guide. This year, Fiske names 45 institutions—21 public and 24 private—as Best Buys. These institutions fall into the inexpensive or moderate price category with four or five star academic ratings. Fiske proves that the price and quality of a university do not always go hand and hand. For more than 25 years, students and their families have looked to The Fiske Guide to Colleges to help make the most intelligent educational investment they can. The revised and updated 2011 edition of The Fiske Guide to Colleges (9781402209611; July 2011) by Edward B. Fiske features over 300 of the country’s best and most interesting colleges and universities. The Fiske Guide to Colleges 2011 is independent. The Fiske Guide accepts no consulting, advertising, or other fees from the institutions and has no outside relationship with the schools working on its behalf.
