Arts of Fashion Week at Drexel to Conclude with International Fashion Show

What: A highly anticipated international fashion show at the Philadelphia Museum of Art featuring work by promising young designers and innovative and experimental student designs will end a week of fashion-related exhibitions, lectures and master classes at Drexel University.Who: As the host of this year’s “Arts of Fashion” competition, Drexel transformed its campus into a fashion epicenter. Anthony Vaccarello, a Paris designer who most recently designed furs under Karl Lagerfeld for the House of Fendi, and Mattew Ames and Aurore Thibout, both designers who debuted their spring-summer collection at Fashion Week in Paris, will showcase apparel at the fashion show. The 50 finalists competing were selected by a panel of fashion experts in Los Angeles and include three finalists from Drexel: Rochelle Gordon, Joanna Holmes and Milka Osoro. Schools represented include New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Pratt Institute, Cornell University, Parsons New School for Design and Moore College of Arts & Design.
