What: Drexel University will celebrate the inauguration of the first African American president with a watch party for all students, faculty and staff in the Great Court of the University’s Main Building.Visuals: -The Victorian Great Court will be decorated for the event with a 40-foot-long U.S. flag, and red, white and blue balloons -Life-size cutouts of Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton will be available for attendees to pose for photos -A message wall will allow everyone to post comments for the new president. -A game of presidential trivia will offer the opportunity to win prizes including replicas of the Constitution.Who: Drexel political science professors will lead conversations on the significance of the inauguration, and the challenges Obama will face as president.
