Capt. Christopher Ferguson will return to Drexel University, his alma mater, for a campus rally celebrating his successful mission commanding the November space shuttle Endeavour flight. At the celebration, Ferguson will share his experience leading the shuttle crew to the International Space Station and overseeing a perfect landing. He will also be recognized as the 2009 Engineer of the Year during a presentation by Dean of Engineering Dr. Selcuk Guceri. Ferguson graduated from Drexel with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1984.
