Who Will be AAHSAs Last Designer Standing

What: Four months ago, a group of Drexel University design students embarked on a journey to learn how their work could enrich the lives older adults. Those same students will now go head –to-head at the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging’s (AAHSA) Annual Meeting & Exposition in a competition like any other. Working in rooms built right on the exposition floor, watch as two student teams paint, hammer and sew their ideas to life as part of a 2-day quest to build uniquely personal, but affordable, rooms for a local senior. Thousands of meeting attendees get an up close look at the action and ultimately decided which design most uniquely celebrates this individual’s life.
