Drexel Students to Participate in Public Health Awareness Fair at Love Park

What/Who: Students from Drexel University’s School of Public Health will participate in the public health awareness fair at Love Park tomorrow. The event will engage passersby in trivia questions about public health and educate them on the 10 greatest achievements of public health in the 20th century. These include immunizations, decline in deaths from heart disease, workplace safety, safer and healthier foods and tobacco as a health hazard.Representatives from the Philadelphia Police and Fire Departments, and the city’s Department of Streets will also be available to answer questions about personal health and safety.
