Financial Times Ranks the Drexel Executive MBA Among Top 20 in the Nation
The Drexel Executive MBA placed second only to The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania
In its 2007 survey of executive MBA programs, Financial Times, a leading international business newspaper, ranked the Drexel Executive MBA at LeBow College of Business 19th in the nation and 54th in the world. Among Philadelphia-area schools, the Drexel Executive MBA placed second only to The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
The survey also ranked the Drexel Executive MBA 3rd in the nation for career progression, quantifying the changes in the level of seniority and the size of the company Drexel alumni are working in now versus before their executive MBA.
“The success of the Drexel Executive MBA program can be attributed to the foresight in developing an innovative curriculum that responds to the global needs of today’s executive,” said Drexel University President Dr. Constantine Papadakis. “We are able to deliver a top notch experience with high caliber students and exceptional faculty that continues to advance the careers of our graduates.”
The rankings are based on surveys of alumni three years post graduation who responded to survey categories for satisfaction in career progress, salary percentage increase and aims achieved. The survey also takes into account a school’s diversity and the scholarly activities of its faculty.
“The Drexel Executive MBA is committed to exceed the needs of our students and alumni and is a key factor in their upward mobility, as evidenced by the achievements of our class of 2004,” said LeBow College of Business Dean Dr. George P. Tsetsekos. “The Financial Times ranking further attests to our growing stature as one of the world’s leading resources for executive education and validates the rigorous cross-functional education, leadership assessment and global perspective that executives need to lead in a complex marketplace.”
The Drexel Executive MBA at LeBow College of Business is one of the largest programs in the Philadelphia region. Designed to maximize leadership potential in a convenient weekend format over 20 months, the program features executive leadership training that delivers exclusive individual and group coaching and culminates in a unique international leadership residency.
