Emily Griffith, a PhD candidate in the College of Arts and Sciences, was quoted in an April 26 IFLScience article about recently published research she led on the discovery of fluorescent pigments in the feathers of Long-eared Owls, that can only be seen by humans with the help of ultraviolet light.
