Maya Announces Annual Fall Term Writing Contest

Maya, Drexel's undergraduate literary magazine, is holding its second annual fall term writing contest. Students are invited to submit their poetry, fiction or nonfiction writing through Tuesday, December 1, 2009. 

All undergraduates are welcome to submit as many pieces in one or all categories as they would like. First place in each category wins a cash prize and possible publication in the Press 1 literary arts journal. First, second and third place winners will be published in the 2010 Maya issue.

There is no submission fee. Winners will be announced on Sunday, December 13. To submit or for more information, email entry or entries to dsomaya@drexel.edu or turn in entries at MacAlister Hall room 5027 (33rd and Chestnut Streets). Submissions will be read blind and voted on by Maya staff members. Maya staff members are not permitted to compete.
