“Fuels & Materials Research at the Advanced Test Reactor”

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering presents Dr. Todd Allen (above), scientific director of the Advanced Test Reactor National Scientific User Facility (ATR NSUF), today, November 4, 2009 at 3 p.m. in the LeBow Engineering Center's Hill Conference Room (31st and Market Streets). 

Allen will discuss “Fuels & Materials Research at the Advanced Test Reactor” and cover topics including ATR research and the basic mechanisms of radiation damage in materials and why that makes reactor testing necessary.
