A team of internal medicine residents from Drexel University College of Medicine has taken home the state title of "Medical Jeopardy" champions. The Drexel University College of Medicine team won the Pennsylvania title in a competition held last weekend at Hershey Medical Center. The team had advanced to the state round after winning the Southeastern Pennsylvania regional championship in October. At that time, Drexel University College of Medicine beat out seven other residency programs from the Philadelphia region, including last year's national champs Albert Einstein Medical Center.

The national medical jeopardy competition, formally known as Doctor's Dilemma, is hosted by the American College of Physicians. The final round of competition will be held at the group's annual meeting in Washington, D.C. in May. At that time, the Drexel University College of Medicine team will compete against 40 teams of residents from around the country for the coveted title of national champions.
