Tina Rader, MHS, PA(ASCP)CM, MT(ASCP), is an assistant professor and serves as co-director of the Master of Science in Histotechnology (MHP) and Master of Science in Pathologists' Assistant (PathA) programs.

As co-director of the PathA program, she is involved in reviewing applications and interviewing candidates. She teaches Medical Terminology, Laboratory Management and Applied Anatomic Pathology as well as laboratory sessions for the Histotechnology I and Applied Anatomic Pathology courses. She coordinates the Biomedical Photography an Histotechnology I and II courses and oversees the scheduling of the clinical rotation sites for the second year (clinical year) of the PathA program.

Ms. Rader was involved in the creation of the Sacramento, California, Campus PathA program and is maintaining oversight of that program with the assistance of the College of Medicine Sacramento faculty.

As co-director of the Master of Science in Histotechnology program, Ms. Rader has helped in the development of the curriculum and course content. She is involved in reviewing applications and interviewing candidates as well as adding additional clinical rotation sites for the MHP clinical practitum.

The PathA and MHP programs are accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) and Ms. Rader is involved in maintaining accreditation for both of the programs.

She is an active member of the American Association of Pathologists’ Assistants and a member of the Manor College Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
