Leonard Ginsburg, MD, CDE, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a clinical diabetes educator practicing in Center City Philadelphia. He has expertise in the areas of diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration, with an interest in the links between religion and medicine. He is chief of ophthalmology at Springfield Hospital, and clinical chief of Drexel Ophthalmology.

Dr. Ginsburg is the president of the Moore Eye Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to disease prevention, eye education, indigent care and visual rehabilitation.
