John G. Lieb II, MD, FASGE, is a gastroenterologist practicing in Center City Philadelphia. He is the director of interventional endoscopy at Hahnemann University Hospital.

Dr. Lieb is an associate professor in the Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine, at Drexel University College of Medicine. He previously served for six years on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania. He has published approximately 40 articles, book chapters and abstracts on pancreatico-biliary diseases, endoscopic techniques and endoscopic quality. He has lectured on these topics across the country.
