Jay Yanoff, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surger yat Drexel University College of Medicine. He is the former associate dean of graduate medical education and former designated institutional official (DIO) of Hahnemann University Hospital.

Dr. Yanoff brings to this his work outstanding background in education. Prior to joining Hahnemann University Hospital he served as vice president for academic affairs at Delaware Valley Medical Center/Frankford Hospital and at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he served as associate dean for education.

He is nationally recognized for his work in how the mind functions in the learning process and is the co-author of two textbooks, many book chapters and numerous articles in refereed journals. Dr. Yanoff earned his BS and MA degrees in education and business administration from the University of Louisville and his EdD in educational psychology from Temple University.
