Annette Gadegbeku, MD, is an associate professor in the Department of Family, Community & Preventive Medicine and associate director for the Family Medicine Residency program. Her academic interests include urban and underserved community medicine, adolescent medicine, women’s health and global health.
As a community medicine liaison, Dr. Gadegbeku has implemented a longitudinal community medicine curriculum for the residency and coordinates family medicine resident participation in health programs at various community sites in the Philadelphia region. She also serves as the community preceptor for the Drexel University College of Medicine Health Outreach Projects (H.O.P.) student-run clinics at Eliza Shirley Women & Children’s Shelter and Salvation Army Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center.
