Mary Anne Delaney is a professor of psychiatry and former chair of the Department of Psychiatry and director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Drexel University College of Medicine. She also served as chair of the Department of Psychiatry at Abington Memorial Hospital, a major teaching affiliate of Drexel University College of Medicine. Dr. Delaney is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and has been involved in research on autism spectrum disorders and their treatment and on the effectiveness of systems of care for children with psychiatric disorders. She has also served in leadership roles in various regional and national programs that advocate for children and their mental health needs. She is a graduate of the 2008 ELAM class. Since 2007 she has served as the director of the finance curriculum, working in collaboration with our nationally recognized finance faculty. She is currently also the associate director of ELAM.

ELAM is a core program of the Institute for Women's Health and Leadership at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pa. The Institute continues the legacy of advancing women in medicine that began in 1850 with the founding of the Female Medical College of Pennsylvania, the nation's first women's medical school and a predecessor of today's Drexel University College of Medicine.
