ELAM Institutional Action Project (IAP) Poster Symposium
Fellows and guests meet in one of four concurrent moderated sessions (education, research, clinical, administration) to harvest lessons of leadership from the process and outcomes of the IAPs. Two waves of sessions will allow participants to draw from a range of discussions.
12:45 – 2:30 p.m.
Lunch and Leader-to-Leader Dialogues with Your Fellow(s)
This is an important time for you and your fellow(s) to meet to discuss next steps in her leadership pathway. Many of our ELAM-experienced deans remark that this is the most important time in the Forum for them because they are able to discuss institutional leadership initiatives outside the distractions of the usual office day. If you have more than one fellow, we hope that you will set aside additional time to meet with each separately for this important discussion.
2:45 – 5 p.m.
Graduation (2:45 – 4 p.m.) and Reception (4 – 5 p.m.)
We invite you to stay on after the Forum to attend your fellow's graduation and reception. This year we are pleased to have Alicia Monroe, MD, provost and senior vice president of academic and faculty affairs at Baylor College of Medicine as our graduation speaker. Deans' participation in this event, which caps a highly intensive year, is especially meaningful for the fellows.
