Behavioral Healthcare Education
Welcome to Behavioral Healthcare Education, the training and technical assistance division of the Department of Psychiatry. We provide behavioral health continuing education and consultation.
BHE offers both online and in-person training for behavioral health practitioners.
In-Person Training Opportunities
Regional and Reserve Courses are our in-person training programs.
Regional Courses are available at no charge to behavioral health practitioners who are employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services. Eligible participants may take up to two Regional Courses per trimester.

Reserve Courses are open to anyone, and you may register for as many as you like. There is a small fee associated with these courses.

Online Training Opportunities
Our online courses include a variety of sought-after topics, many of which are often booked to capacity in our live training sessions. These courses are timely and convenient, and can be accessed from your home or office.

Register for BHE courses
Our colleagues at the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute are offering a web-based CME and CE forum for health professionals serving individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The program, Psychopharmacology and ASD, will be available until June 30, 2017.
