Jessica Meng: Drexel Medical Science Program Student

Meet Jessica Meng

"Even though IMS and MMS are both difficult, there are many resources available to help you. Besides your teachers, TAs and peers, you also have a wonderful team of advisors who can help make your dream of becoming a physician a reality." Read more about Jessica.

Katy Locke, Drexel Medical Science Program Student

Meet Katy Locke

"I started out in the Interdepartmental Medical Science (IMS) program before changing to the Medical Science (MMS) program, and got a lot of advice from the faculty about making that happen. There're only eight students in this MMS year, so it really feels like I am able to connect one-on-one with each professor. The faculty members here really care about getting us to our ultimate goal of getting into medical school." Read more about Katy.

Austin LaRocca, Drexel Master of Science in Medical Science Program Graduate

Meet Austin LaRocca

"I got into Cooper Medical School of Rowan University for this upcoming cycle, so in August I will be starting orientation week. My long-term goal is to do a surgical residency and become a surgeon. [...] I don't know what I would have done without the MMS program. It would have been a lot harder to get the things I needed on my application in order to get that offer of admission." Read more about Austin.

Eric Haljasmaa, Drexel Medical Science Program Student

Meet Eric Haljasmaa

"The fact that I enjoyed learning the material and found the classes interesting helped reinforce my decision to want to go to medical school. I knew I was on the right path. Now in the second year, I am taking more classes. They are high-level, graduate and medical-level courses." Read more about Eric.

Michael Brinton, Drexel Medical Science Program Student

Meet Michael Brinton

"Dr. Angelo Lepore was very open to working with someone like me who didn't have lot of research experience. I've learned so much from him and from the other members of the lab, all of whom have been really welcoming and have helped me progress as a researcher. It was both the subject material and the environment. Having a good lab environment is essential to having a good project." Read more about Michael.

Ahsun Bajwa, Drexel Medical Science Program Alumn

Meet Ahsun Bajwa

"My experience within the program has been excellent. Taking medical school coursework as part of the curriculum has allowed me to feel confident and prepared for the challenges that lie ahead. Read more about Ahsun.

Drexel Medical Science Alumnus Michael Branham

Meet Michael Branham

"The Medical Science program not only helped me get in, but it's making medical school easier too, since you take real medical school classes in the Medical Science program. Being exposed to that was really helpful." Read more about Michael.
