Gilman and Freeman-ASIA Scholarship Information Session

Come learn about scholarships to cover undergraduate study/co-op abroad - up to $8,000 in funding!

The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship enables undergraduates with financial need to study or co-op abroad by offering up to $8,000 to Pell grant recipients. Preference is given to students from diverse backgrounds.

The Freeman Awards for Study in Asia (Freeman-ASIA) provides grants of up to $7,000 to support U.S. undergraduates with demonstrated financial need who are planning to study overseas in East or Southeast Asia. The program's goal is to increase the number of Americans with firsthand exposure to and understanding of Asia and its peoples and cultures.

This info session will provide an overview of the awards, application process, and tips for constructing a competitive application.
