Forum for Inclusive Culture (iForum)

Wednesday, June 27, 2018

1:00 PM-2:00 PM

From Samantha Bee to Roseanne Barr, #MeToo, and twitter feuds, we seem to be bombarded with public apologies (and non-apologies). This plays out in our own communities: Who apologizes and who doesn’t? What do we owe to someone who says they’re sorry? When do people need to fix what they broke with words instead with deeds?

The next meeting of the Forum for Inclusive Culture (iForum) will take place on Wednesday, June 27, at 1 p.m. in the James E. Marks Intercultural Center (3225 Arch Street), and is being co-sponsored by the Lindy Center and the Office of Equality and Diversity.

Lunch will be provided. Email jkrohn@drexel.edu to RSVP, provide feedback on the discussion topic, and/or suggest additional agenda items.

About the iForum: The iForum is an open-membership coalition of students, faculty, professional staff, and community members that gathers no less than quarterly to address issues of diversity and inclusion affecting the Drexel community. Meetings typically begin with announcements, have a central discussion topic, and close out with suggestions, determination of next steps, and troubleshooting. All are welcome to come and participate, and we value newcomers who keep the group fresh and responsive to developments on campus. Join us!
