IMMID Center for Business and Program Development Mentoring & Training

The Center for Business and Program Development (CBPD) offers the following opportunities to faculty and students in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology (M&I) and the Institute for Molecular Medicine and Infectious Disease (IMMID):

Training in e-learning technologies and pedagogy

The Center for Business and Program Development team includes an in-house instructional designer who provides one-and-one and group training to M&I and IMMID faculty teaching in online or hybrid courses the Center develops and supports. Training can also be coordinated with the University's learning technologies team at the University City Campus.

Interdisciplinary postdoctoral fellowship

The Center for Business and Program Development developed an interdisciplinary postdoctoral fellowship program centered on developing digital games for teaching in biomedical graduate programs (i.e., digital game-based learning). Other aspects of this novel training program include teaching, entrepreneurship and scholarly research on GBL.
