Chief Medical Officer, Shore Medical Center
Jeanne M. Rowe, MD, joined the staff at Shore Medical Center in May of 2012 after a long, distinguished career in the Midwest.
Prior to joining Shore Medical Center, Dr. Rowe served as chief medical officer at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. In that role, she was a member of the senior leadership council and a participant in setting the Aspirus system wide strategic plan. She led multidisciplinary teams, accomplishing many performance improvements in quality and safety. Dr. Rowe served as a key executive leader in Medicare break-even strategic initiatives.
Dr. Rowe received her medical degree with highest distinction from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Board certified in internal medicine, with 20 years experience in clinical practice, Dr. Rowe is a clinical associate professor at Indiana University School of Medicine and an associate faculty member at the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is a fellow in the American College of Physicians and a member of the American College of Physician Executives.
While on the staff of Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, she became the youngest and first woman to serve as medical staff president in 1999-2000.
