In addition to training medical and graduate students, the College of Medicine offers several educational programs to the public, including high school students, returning physicians, women in academic medicine and emergency responders. We also support MD students interested in understanding global trends and health practices at home and abroad.
By offering these unique educational programs, we hope to enhance health care knowledge in Philadelphia and encourage others to get involved in medicine and public health.
Global Health Education

Physician Refresher Course
Drexel's Physician Refresher/Re-entry program offers a range of courses for physicians who intend to return to active clinical practice, want to enhance their focus or area of interest, or want to prepare for admission to U.S. graduate medical education training programs.

ELAM
Our Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine® (ELAM®) program is a year-long, part-time fellowship for women faculty in schools of medicine, dentistry, public health and pharmacy. The program is dedicated to developing the professional and personal skills required to lead and manage in today's complex health care environment, with special attention to the unique challenges facing women in leadership positions. More than 1,000 ELAM graduates hold leadership positions in institutions around the world.
