Vision 2020 50/50 Day: Rethinking the Past, Present and Future of Women in Leadership

50/50 Day is a global day of film screenings, discussions and action around gender equality in leadership. As an ambassador to the global organizers, Vision 2020 will host 50/50 Day in Philadelphia.
 
Vision 2020 50/50 Day will begin with a film screening of "50/50", a 20-minute documentary about women in leadership, followed by a panel discussion with some of Philadelphia's top executives and elected officials regarding the importance of 50-50 shared leadership in business and government.
 
 
The schedule of events is as follows:
  • 9:30-9:35 a.m.: Welcome & Opening Remarks from Lynn Yeakel, President of Vision 2020
  • 9:35-9:55 a.m.: Screening of "50/50"
  • 10:00-11:00 a.m.: Panel Discussion and Q&A 
    • Moderator:
      • Jennifer Lynn, "Morning Edition" Host and Producer at WHYY
    • Panelists: 
      • Ed Lovelidge, Managing Partner, Philadelphia Metro Market at PricewaterhouseCoopers
      • Eileen McDonnell, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer at The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company
      • Ed Rendell, Former Governor of Pennsylvania
      • Blondell Reynolds Brown, Councilwoman At-Large at Philadelphia City Council

Following the event, all attendees will receive free admission to the National Constitution Center.
