2012 Summer REU
February 13, 2012 — Undergraduate students in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field are invited to apply for the summer research experience for undergraduates.
Two successful applicants will work with Dr. Medvedev on research projects at the interface between nonlinear dynamics and network science for 4-6 weeks during Summer of 2012 (tentatively August - middle of September). Stipends will be provided. Applicants are expected to have taken courses in linear algebra and differential equations and have some experience with computer programming (e.g., writing short codes in Matlab). Preference will be given to juniors, although sophomores and seniors with strong background will be considered. Women, minorities, and students with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
