Core Facilities

Drexel University's Core Facilities include state-of-the-art modern analytical and imaging labs in the Bossone Research Enterprise Center and a Micro Fabrication lab in the LeBow Engineering Building of the College of Engineering.  The Core Facilities provide access to advanced equipment for electron microscopy, vibrational spectroscopy, elemental analysis, x-ray diffraction, nanoindentation, and micro fabrication. The Core Facilities' mission is to facilitate maintenance and use of high-end research instruments that are not readily available to a single research group, with a a major focus on the training and education of students and researchers on how to employ cutting-edge research instruments.  Equipment in the Core Facilities is available to Drexel students and researchers, and also to researchers from other universities and government and industrial laboratories. Completely assisted services are provided for infrequent use by untrained researchers from academia and industry.
