The fourth annual Philly Materials Science and Engineering Day held February 1, 2014 received coverage from the Triangle Live, WXPN’s Kids’ Corner and WPVI Channel 6 Action News. Hosted by Drexel University in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania, the Franklin Institute, and the Academy of Natural Sciences this event provides a fun, free opportunity for the general public to learn more about materials science through engaging and educational hands-on activities. This year’s event attracted over 1300 attendees from throughout the Delaware Valley.
