Zavaliangos Elected Alpha Sigma Mu Fellow

Dr. Antonios Zavaliangos

Department Head and Professor Antonios Zavaliangos has been elected to be an Alpha Sigma Mu Fellow.  The honor will be presented as part of the Materials Science and Technology 2012 Conference and Exhibition in Pittsburgh, PA in October 2012.

Zavaliangos is being recognized for his role in furthering the field of materials science and engineering in both the areas of education and research and helping to lead the rejuvenation of the Pennsylvania Alpha Chapter of Alpha Sigma Mu. 

Alpha Sigma Mu is the international professional honor society for materials science and engineering.
