Alumnus Davide Mattia Receives Tenure at University of Bath

Alumnus Dr. Davide Mattia (Ph.D. 2008) has recently been awarded tenure at the University of Bath.  Mattia is a Lecturer and RAEng/EPSRC Research Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath working on mass transport at the nanoscale.

Mattia worked under the mentorship of Distinguished University and Trustee Chair Professor Yury Gogotsi and the Nano Materials Group on the synthesis and characterization of carbon nanotubes for nanofluidic applications.  He was one of two students selected to receive the award for graduates deemed to show the most promise in enhancing Drexel's reputation in the field of Mathematical Sciences and Engineering in 2008, one of Drexel's highest awards for graduating doctoral students.
