Service Immersion Program

Deadline EXTENDED! Now accepting Applications through Tuesday, November 20th!
The Service Immersion Program is a program designed to enrich students learning experiences through civic engagement opportunities with local, national, and global communities. The cornerstone of the program are three service immersion trips throughout the year:
National Immersion: A U.S. Southern State working with Habitat for Humanity
Local Immersion: Philadelphia working with Urban Tree Connection
International Immersion: Panama working with Global Brigades
Each immersion program will include educational, team building, fundraising, and orientation activities tied to a credit-bearing course through the Lindy Center. Students have the option to earn either 1 or 3 academic credits for their participation in the program.
Participation is open to all Drexel University students and will be filled based on a competitive basis. Students interested in the Service Immersion Program are strongly encouraged to attend an Information Session.
