Drexel Community-Based Learning Course Development & Faculty Training

 

Join us for an intensive community-based learning course development training from January 15-17, 2018.

Through this training faculty will:

  • Explore the movement and experience of civic engagement in higher education, including Drexel’s unique Side-by-Side courses.
  • Experience and reflect upon discomfort within an academic setting while at Graterford Correctional Facility.
  • Experience active learning techniques and pedagogies.
  • Begin to develop or further refine a community-based learning course
  • Access support and resources pre and post workshop via an online learning environment
