Associated Press Article Showcases Improv for Lawyers Class

February 01, 2013

An Associated Press article published on Feb. 1 underscores the value of the law school’s Improv for Lawyers class.

The article features Professor Sharon Geller, an experienced actress and comedian, and describes how mastering improvisational comedy techniques helps students gain confidence they need for professional practice.

New Jersey attorney Micah Buchdahl, a member of the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Continuing Legal Education, was quoted as saying that improv skills benefit practitioners, whether they’re in the courtroom, at the negotiating table or wooing clients.

The article was picked up by The Philadelphia Inquirer, the San Francisco Chronicle and the York Daily Record.
