Due to severe weather that is predicted to accompany the arrival of Hurricane Sandy, all classes and University events at Drexel University, including the Earle Mack School of Law at Drexel University, and Drexel University College of Medicine are cancelled for Monday, Oct. 29 and Tuesday, Oct. 30. Classes and normal business operations will resume on Wednesday, Oct. 31. 

In addition, both the law building and the Legal Research Center (LRC) will close effective Oct. 28 at 5 p.m. and neither will be open on Oct. 29 or 30. This also means that any and all meetings and conferences scheduled for Oct. 29 or 30 are cancelled. After 5 p.m. on Oct. 28 students will not have access to lockers or anything else in the LRC or law building until the school reopens on Oct. 31. 

First year students should assume that unless you hear otherwise from your Legal Methods professor, your assignments are still due on TWEN as scheduled, and that conferences scheduled for Monday, Oct. 29 and Tuesday, Oct. 30 will be rescheduled.

Students should direct questions about any class assignments due Monday, Oct. 29 and Tuesday, Oct. 30 directly to the professor teaching the course, but should give the professors some time to address the situation first.

On Wednesday, Oct. 31 we plan on following a normal schedule and for the reminder of the week. We will work with professors on scheduling any needed make-up classes, but will not have any information on any make-ups until after Oct. 31.
