West Publishes Book on Experiential Legal Education Co-Written and Edited by Professor Susan L. Brooks

The third edition of “Learning from Practice: A Text for Experiential Legal Education,” co-written and co-edited by Professor Susan L. Brooks, will be released on Feb. 28.

Brooks is a recognized expert on methods for incorporating hands-on learning in a law school curriculum and she is a frequent presenter at national and international conferences and symposia focused on experiential legal education.

The book, co-edited by Catholic University Law Professor Leah Wortham, University of Georgia Law Professor Alexander Scherr and Albany Law School Professor Nancy Maurer, features chapters on a broad array of topics including effective communication and professional relationships, ethical issues in externships and career development.
