3L Leonard Altieri and Professor Chapin Cimino Win Seats in School Board Elections

3L Leonard Altieri and Professor Chapin Cimono, both elected to school boards in November 2015

November 04, 2015

Leonard Altieri was the top vote-getter in the election on Nov. 3 for Marple Newtown school director.  The Newton Square resident, a 3L, was first elected to the post in 2013. Altieri has also served on the Newton Township Planning Commission and the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.

Professor Chapin Cimino was elected to the school board in Wallingford-Swarthmore, where she hopes to address the under-funding of the state teachers’ pension fund and to enhance communication with district residents. As a legal scholar, Cimino examines the roles of virtue, sincerity and objectivity in legal transactions and litigation.
