Professor Anil Kalhan Presents Paper on ‘Stop and Frisk’ at Georgetown University Symposium

Professor Anil Kalhan presented his paper, “Stop and Frisk, Judicial Independence, and the Ironies of ‘Improper Appearances,’” at the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics symposium on Race and Access to the Justice System on March 18. 

Kalhan joined panelists from law schools at the City University of New York, Fordham University, University of Miami, the University of Mississippi to discuss Criminal Law Ethics & Race at the symposium, held at Georgetown University Law Center. 

A scholar who focuses on immigration, criminal law, comparative constitutional law, privacy and surveillance and international human rights law, Kalhan has published work in journals that include the Ohio State Law Journal and Columbia Law Review Sidebar
