2L Briana Cavallaro received one of five Barristers' Association of Philadelphia scholarships at its annual dinner on May 18 at the Westin Hotel in Philadelphia. The Legal Intelligencer highlighted the event in an article (subscription required) on its website on April 24.

The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania helps address the professional needs and development of Black lawyers in the City of Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Since 1976, in honor of the significant contribution of Black attorneys, law students, practicing attorneys and jurists who embody professionalism, dedication to the profession as well as a commitment to the black Philadelphia legal community.
