Class of 2009

Tiffany Alford is a staff attorney at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Eatontown, N.J.

Lindsay (Wagner) Brown is an associate at Archer and Greiner in Haddonfield, N.J., where she is a member of the Environmental Law and Petroleum Industry Practices groups.

Megan Feehan, an associate in Cozen O’Connor’s Family Law practice, co-authored an article on a sperm donor case involving actor Jason Patric and technology’s role in redefining the family that was published in The Legal Intelligencer in July 2014.

Nathan Fox, an associate at Begley, Carlin & Mandio in Langhorne, Pa., was named a 2014 Rising Star in Land Use and Zoning Law by Super Lawyers.

Mark Gottesfeld, an associate at Winebrake & Santillo, a firm in Dresher, Pa. that represents workers in wage and overtime cases, was a panelist at an Ohio Association for Justice Education Foundation seminar in 2014.

Kristina Smith Harr is a senior contract administrator at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Rachel Colancecco Heinrich is an associate at Wilentz Goldman & Spitzer in Philadelphia, where she focuses her practice in commercial litigation.

Jennifer Hermansky, an associate at Greenberg Traurig in Philadelphia, was named a Rising Star in Immigration Law by SuperLawyers in 2013 and 2014 and a Top 25 EB-5 Attorney by EB5Investor magazine in 2013. She was also a contributing author to the third edition of "Immigration Options for Investors & Entrepreneurs," published in 2014.

Kevin Huang, an associate at Dilworth Paxson, will join the adjunct faculty in the spring to teach Writing Strategies for the Bar.

Jeremy Kiehl is a district office manager with the Republican Caucus in Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives in Harrisburg.

Jackie Lowthert is in-house employment attorney for the Horsham, Pa.-based Bimbo Bakeries USA, whose brands include Arnold, Entenmann’s, Sara Lee and Thomas’.

Michelle Payne is an attorney at the Crime Victims Law Project, administered by Delaware County Women Against Rape, and at the Law Office of Benjamin J. Hinerfeld, which specializes in special education law.  In the spring, she will become a teaching fellow at the law school, joining Professor Amy Montemarano to co-teach Writing Strategies for the Bar.

Katherine Robinson, an associate at Cipriani & Werner in Blue Bell, Pa., was named a Rising Star in Personal Injury Law by Super Lawyers; 2014 was the third consecutive year she received the honor.

Daniel Siedman, an associate at Ciardi Ciardi & Astin in Philadelphia, was named a 2014 Rising Star in Bankruptcy by Super Lawyers.

Amanda Harris Souvannamethy is an associate at the Law Offices of Regan, Chartered, a firm in Washington, D.C. that represents labor unions as well as public and private-sector employers.

Class of 2010

Nicole Aiken is an associate at Reed Smith in Philadelphia, where she is a member of the Life Sciences Health Industry Group and focuses on health care regulatory law.

Juan Baez was promoted from staff attorney to deputy managing attorney with the AIDS Law Project of Pennsylvania, and he was elected vice president of the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania’s Legal Education Fund.

Sherrell Dandy is an associate at Marks, O’Neill, O’Brien, Doherty & Kelly, where she primarily focuses her practice on insurance defense.

Daniela Ivancikova is associate general counsel for AAA Mid-Atlantic.

Talia Offord, an associate at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP in Phoenix, focuses her practice on general liability and commercial litigation, including intellectual property, liquor law, fashion law, promotions law and product liability. In October, she gave a presentation on “Fashion Law: Protecting Your Brand,” during Fashion Week in Phoenix.

Tracy Tripp, an assistant defender with Defender Association of Philadelphia, will join the adjunct faculty in the spring, teaching Criminal Procedure: Investigations as part of the Master of Legal Studies program.

Class of 2011

Scott Bender is senior attorney advisor at the Social Security Administration in Towson, Md.  He moved up to that post in October, just three months after being promoted to supervisory attorney advisor.

Sara Goldstein is associate counsel for business development at ECRI Institute, and she has joined the adjunct faculty of the law school.  In the spring, she will teach a course on Patients and Privacy for the Master of Legal Studies Program.

Priscilla Jimenez, an associate at Kline & Specter, was named a 2014 Lawyer on the Fast Track by The Legal Intelligencer.

Steve McManus is assistant legal director for the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission.

Ryan Nolan, an associate at Lucas and Cavalier in Philadelphia, in June won the first case she argued before Judge Mark I. Bernstein, who was her professor in Trial Advocacy and in whose courtroom she’d gained experience in a mock trial.  She represented a defendant in a vehicle accident liability case, in which the jury found the plaintiff driver 55 percent at fault and awarded no damages to the plaintiff passenger.

Diana Silva, an associate at Manko Gold Katcher & Fox, was named a 2014 Rising Star in Environmental Litigation by Super Lawyers.

Blair Thompson is an attorney advisor with the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, Md.

Class of 2012

M. Andrew Campanelli, an associate in Drinker Biddle’s Insurance Department, presented at the Life Insurers’ Compliance Fundamentals Training Conference in June.

Claudia Joy (Hage) Demitro is deputy attorney general at the Division of Criminal Justice in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, where she handles criminal appeals.

Shelby Skeabeck is an associate at Shawe Rosenthal LLP in Baltimore, Md., where she defends employers in employment-related matters.

Hans Smith relocated in July to Baker Hostetler’s office in Costa Mesa Calif., where he handles intellectual property litigation, licensing, patent prosecution and other transactional matters.

John Steed is an attorney with the Law Office of Ellen Best, splitting his time between offices in Blue Hill, Maine and nearby Stonington.  He focuses his practice primarily on real estate, wills and probate. 

Dora Andonova Ward is a senior associate at the Pennsylvania Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority.

Class of 2013

Nicole Adams is deputy attorney general at the Division of Law in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, where she represents a variety of state agencies.  She is involved in tort litigation, child protection, employment counseling and civil commitment of sexually violent predators. Her caseload includes work in federal and state court as well as the Office of Administrative Law.

Alison (Van Horn) Beam is manager of public policy and associate counsel at Independence Blue Cross.

Christopher Dodson is an associate at Baer Crossey in Center City, where he practices corporate, technology and intellectual property law.

Jordan Fischer, an associate at Archer & Greiner in Philadelphia and Haddonfield, N.J., will join the adjunct faculty of the law school in the spring, when she will teach European Union Law.

Racquel Hubbs is an assistant staff judge advocate at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.  As the chief of legal assistance on the base, she provides legal advice and assistance to airmen and eligible dependents, retirees and reservists and prosecutes cases on behalf of the Air Force.  She also serves as a special assistant U.S. attorney, prosecuting civilians in federal court.

Lisa Krestynick is clerking for Judge Gina M. Groh of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia.

Didi Onejeme is assistant counsel at the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, where she represents the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review, which processes all unemployment claims for the commonwealth.

Barkha Patel is a litigation associate in the Woodbury, N.J. office of Delany McBride, a firm that handles personal injury, liability, and products, toxic, environmental and mass tort litigation.

Josh Shantzer is an associate at KPMG in San Francisco, Calif., where he is a member of the firm’s state and local taxation practice, performing due diligence review and analysis for prospective merger and acquisition transactions.

Jonathan Gremminger is an associate at Lauletta Birnbaum in Sewell, N.J., where he focuses his practice in general corporate representation, litigation, mergers & acquisitions and real estate.

Bonnie Johnson is clerking for Judge John Fratto at the Superior Court of New Jersey in Camden.

Michael Manara is an assistant district attorney with the District Attorney’s Office in Philadelphia.

Lee Schmeer is an associate at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis in Philadelphia, where he is a member of the Litigation Services Department and Aviation Practice Group.

John Walsh is an associate in the construction and litigation practice groups at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin in New York City.
