Reciprocity Policy

Students and Alumni Applying for Reciprocity

Our students and alumni can request access to the career office at a law school in another city or state. Reciprocity may be available for a combination of job postings, access to another school's Symplicity, or counseling appointments. Each school has its own policies and limitations on access to its career services, and most schools have black-out dates (in the fall) when reciprocity is not available.

Requests for reciprocity must come from the Career Strategies Office; students and alumni may not request reciprocity directly. Students and alumni who are interested in seeking reciprocity from another school should e-mail Krystal Lespinasse with full contact information, name of other school, and dates when you will be seeking to use the services of that school. You will be notified by e-mail of the outcome of your reciprocity request as soon as we receive confirmation from the school where you are seeking reciprocity.

Students and Alumni of Other Law Schools Applying for Reciprocity

Reciprocity is available to students and alumni of law schools that grant reciprocity to students and alumni of the Earle Mack School of Law. We generally mirror the reciprocity policy of the requesting school to the extent it is consistent with the our reciprocity policy.

All requests for reciprocity must be submitted in writing to the Earle Mack School of Law Career Strategies Office through the career office of the reciprocity seeker's school. Law school career offices should contact Krystal Lespinasse with reciprocity requests.
